Mr Sam Oussedik, Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, currently works within the University College Health NHS Trust and sees patients privately in several clinics across London. He has a breadth of experience in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, he performs procedures for knee surgery, sports injuries, degenerative conditions, and trauma surgery. He has had extensive experience and training in all aspects of knee and lower limb surgery, with a keen focus on the most up-to-date techniques for joint replacements and reconstructions following sports injuries.Â
Mr Oussedik undertook research at UCH during his training, he investigated the role of stem cells in integrating artificial hips into the surrounding bone. He continues to publish and has numerous journal articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a book on trauma care. He contributes back to research by holding the position of speciality editor for “the Bone and Joint Journal”.
