Mr Rahmanou specalises in minimal access pelvic floor reconstruction and gynaecological surgery. He was graduated from the University of Liverpool and undertook most of his postgraduate training in North London. Following this, he undertook higher specialist training in Urogynaecology at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford with advanced training in laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery and laparoscopic benign gynaecological surgery.
Mr Rahmanou works in a multidisiplinary team with other specialists as recommended by NICE to manage pelvic floor problems such as prolapse and incontinence as well as other gynaecological issues.
Mr Rahmanou's special interests include pelvic floor dysfunction such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. He also has interest in treatment of chronic pelvic pain, heavy periods (Menorrhagia), Period Pain (dysmenorrhoea), endometriosis, fibroids and postnatal problems.
