About
Mr Khalid Ghufoor is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with over two decades of clinical experience in the treatment and management of ENT conditions. He sees private patients at several private hospitals and clinics in London, including The London Bridge Hospital, Harley Street Clinic and The London Independent Hospital.
Mr Ghufoor completed his medical degree at the Royal London Hospital School of Medicine, University of London in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He later completed both basic and advanced training in Otolaryngology at a number of top hospitals in London. During his training, he gained valuable expertise in minimal access surgery.
After completing his training, Mr Ghufoor was appointed as a Consultant at St Bartholomew's Hospital and the Royal London Hospital in 2002. He is currently the Clinical Lead of the Head and Neck Surgery Department at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
His current practice focuses on the treatment and management of various ENT conditions, including: obstructive sleep apnoea, voice disorders, salivary gland conditions, head and neck cancer. He also performs minimal access cancer and ear, nose and throat surgery.
Mr Ghufoor is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary Medical College. He is also an active medical teacher and was appointed as a Clinical Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also a Director on the Ear Nose and Throat Training Programme for the North Thames Deanery.
