I am an experienced ophthalmologist with 21 years of post-training experience in ophthalmology including 15 years in the UK.

I have excellent skills in cataract surgery with a few thousands documented and continuously audited cases. Since 2013, on average I have been doing 500-600 cases per year with significant number of complex cataract cases, referred to me by colleagues. In the cataract surgery audit for my last appraisal in July 2020, my complication rate for the last 12 months was 0.2%, in March 2019, it was 0%, in July 2017 0.4%, in July 2016 0.26%, and the year before 0.42%, that is taking into consideration that I do a large number of complex cases and special intraocular lenses (like toric...). In private practice, I do premium intra-ocular lenses as well.

In addition, I have excellent skills and knowledge of retinal diseases, general ophthalmology and laser procedures. My general ophthalmology experience is very wide and that includes acute ophthalmology, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology.
