I underwent a hip replacement in December 2018 and a total knee replacement in May 2019 both under the care of Mr Winston Kim. I felt instantly at ease on my first appointment with Mr Kim. He took time to explain all options available to me with regards to my surgery. You are very much a part of the decision making with Mr Kim. Both surgeries have been a great success. After several years of crippling, life changing pain from my hip and knee, I am now well on my way to a full recovery, able to walk pain free again. Post surgery care has also been excellent, again from Mr Kim and the physio team supporting him. I am so pleased I chose Mr Kim for both my joint replacements.

From the moment i meet Mr Kim i was made to feel totally at ease, he understsood fully my frustrtations and identtfyed the problems straight his diagnoses was spot on. He also cleared his diary to undertake the procedure the folowing day, as i was 15 weeks post op and the success of this type of treatment was time sensitive. Both before and after the operation Mr Kim was on hand to talk through what was happening and what to exspect after the operation his calm, approachable and professional manor was ever-dent throughout and made the whole experience acceptable.

Had right knee replacement performed by Mr Kim October 2018- very happy with the results of the knee. I heard horror stories from others and feel very luck to have had Mr Kim perform my knee replacement. I have arthritis in the other kne, and I will only have Mr Kim do my knee replacement. I found Mr Kim and his staff to be both competent and caring. At my initial consultation I was given the full details of the diagnosis of my hip problem plus the options available. If I decided on a full right hip replacement this was explained in full plus, of course the possible dangers of undergoing surgery of this nature. I opted for surgery and was admitted to hospital quickly on the date I requested. The surgery and recovery has gone well and I am now pain free thanks to the good care I received from Mr Kim and his team.

From my first consultation with Mr Kim any anxieties I had disappeared . He was calm , reassuring and listened to any concerns I had regarding the operation . He came and spoke to me at each stage of the procedure and daily during my stay in hospital . The procedure has been a great success and at my six week check up Mr Kim was able to show me the before and after X-Ray's demonstrating the necessity for the procedure .
