Great experience and great results - thank you Mr Gulati

I had a replacement of my right knee on 2nd November following a very successful replacement of my left knee in May this year. Mr Gulati is an excellent surgeon and also has an extremely pleasant and caring manner. Although it is only 2 weeks since my latest operation I am able to walk unaided around my home and friends and family are amazed by my walking.

It was a delight to find and experience a personable surgeon, endeavouring to make a connection, thinking of the individual patient, evaluating appropriate risk (I had another health condition many other surgeons often just stop talking to you when you mention) to enable overall health. There were no judgements. I was not mobile prior to this surgery and was pretty miserable and now realise I was in more chronic pain than I realised. Now, just six weeks later my life is transformed. Being mobile is so critical. The surgery itself was brill, I never expected such a result. All the wonderful nurses and physios also could not speak highly enough of him too which really made me feel that not only was he a great surgeon but also a good man who cares about his patients, their overall journey and regardless of level those he works with too in the hospital. Thank you, I will never forget you and how you have helped me in life. I would highly recommend and definitely advise others in such need to go to him.

There are highly rated Consultants and then there is elite. Mr Vivek Gulati is elite. His analysis and explanations inspire total confidence. His surgical results for my total hip replacement were perfect. You find that you leave his care with great confidence and it’s always a pleasure.

16 Years I have had a loose body floating in my knee (found to be a broken off cartilage) resulted from twisting my knee. Within the last couple of years started to experience pain when sitting for long period of time / post exercise. Decided to get it looked at. Describe my symptoms and what has led to it to Mr Gulati, waste no time, he requested MRI. Reviewed the results and presented my options as well as which one has a higher chance of fixing the problems. Overall impressed with the service, post operation pain in the knee has gone and nothing floating in the joint. Currently recovering well.
