He is very patient centred very reassuring wants the best for his patients. He is very knowledgeable and professional and involves you in decision making. Approachable I felt I could speak to him and ask relevant questions.

What can I say, Mr El-Toukhy is clearly experienced, knowledgeable and cares about helping people achieve their dreams of becoming parents. He has confidence without offering false promises, he communicates in a clear and balanced manner, listens carefully and is considerate and thoughtful.

I could not rate more highly my experience at Guy’s Assisted Conception Unit. I saw Mr Tarek El Toukhy as a personalised care patient, so I can only speak for my experience of this route of care at the clinic as a private patient, but it was second to none. I had previously had a very difficult time at another clinic in London where the care was not satisfactory and immediately upon switching to Guy’s clinic I knew I had done the right thing. Mr El Toukhy is a talented, compassionate doctor who always makes himself available to his patients and is extremely dedicated to his job. The care I received was tailored for my needs and I felt attended to and satisfied every step of the way, and I trusted Mr El Toukhy’s clinical decisions at all times. I would highly recommend.

I have already said a lot about Tarek in my previous comments but to re-iterate I could not have wished for anyone better to treat me. His thoughtful, calm, caring approach has provided me with immense reassurance throughout the whole process but at the same time he has always been realistic with me and not given me false hope or platitudes. He has looked to treat fertility issues that both me and my partner had rather than just ignoring them and pressing on with standard IVF protocols which seems to have made all the difference. He always responds amazingly quickly to my texts and gives the impression of having time for you even though he is clearly a very busy man. I cannot believe his dedication and am so glad that doctors like him exist in the IVF world. Ultimately I have felt listened to during the whole process and very well cared for.
