I’d like to give a special mention to my consultant Mr Simon Lambert, upper limb orthopaedic surgeon. It’s become rapidly very clear to me how fortunate I am to be under his care. I’ve seen Mr Lambert in clinic and also had a couple of planned operations with him relating to my shoulder and brachial plexus. Prior to this he had already helped guide my treatment plan through the shoulder practice multidisciplinary team meetings. Mr Lambert has a vast amount of experience, expertise and skills. He really listens and takes on board all your questions and concerns. Mr Lambert is an exceptional diagnostician with a truly unique ability to deep dive into clinical complexity and conundrums. Added to this he is open, honest and humble and he delivers care with palpable kindness and professionalism at all times. I have total faith in Mr Lamberts’ judgement and ability which has enabled me to feel confident and positive about what is an unusual clinical situation and relaxed about the operations involved in the treatment plan. I’d love to be able to deliver such exemplar care that Mr Lambert role models to my own patients and it goes without saying that I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Lambert. Tack så mycket !

Mr Lambert was very clear in what would happen he took time to speak with me and appreciated my hearing condition by removing his mask (no other Medical staff did) and speaking so I could lip read I felt 100% comfortable in Mr Lambert’s care

Mr Lambert was deeply kind and gentle. He was very careful with my sore arm, managing to examine me, without causing pain. He listened carefully and noted all the information I had given him, explaining its relevance to my injury. He answered questions with patience and clarity. He gave me advice on how to aid my recovery and has referred me to a physiotherapist

I have been consulting Mr Lambert for some time (due to Covid) over a painful shoulder. He has been kind, caring, compassionate and reassuring. He is extremely knowledgeable, a great diagnostician and a brilliant surgeon. I cannot recommend Mr Lambert highly enough.
