Mr Gudsoorkar was very thorough during my preop assessment .He knew exactly how I described my sight problems. He explained in detail what he proposed to do to make my eyesight as good as it could be and I felt at ease with him. The theatre staff made me feel safe and comfortable as did Mr.Gudsoorkar whilst having my operation . My vision is now better than it has ever been . Very pleased that I made this decision to see him privately and have the astigmatism correcting lenses not available on the NHS. The whole experience has been fantastic .

I was referred to Mr.Gudsoorkar urgently by my optician after I had sudden drop in my vision in both eyes . He saw me the very next day and diagnosed severe uveitis in both eyes and organised investigations including blood tests , CT scan and a dye test . I was started on heavy dose of steroids and eventually due to the severity of the inflammation I needed steroid implants in both eyes and immunosuppressive medications . Through out this very difficult period ,Mr Gudsoorkar was very thorough and reassuring as I was very anxious about taking these medication during the COVID pandemic .I am very grateful to him for saving my vision and we are very lucky to have a Uveitis expert in Somerset !!

I have had my cataract surgeries last month . Mr. Gudsoorkar was very thorough and diagnosed glaucoma which needed treatment . He explained the need for the toric lens implants to fix my astigmatism . Both surgeries were a great success ! Absolutely first class service .

I can’t thank Mr.Gudsoorkar enough. I went from -12 in both eyes to not needing any glasses. I had multifocal toric lenses . The result is fantastic ! I was very pleased with Mr.Gudsoorkar ,who recently performed laser treatment ( YAG Capsulotomy ) for both my eyes . His conduct from the initial consultation , through the procedure and to final discharge was very professional and caring . The improvement in the vision was almost instantaneous .
