Perfect service, now perfect sight From start to finish the whole Optegra team were absolutely fantastic. I was initially hesitant about going through with laser eye surgery but now wish I'd done it years ago. You're given plenty of information for what to expect at every step of the way, so always feel clued up, and every staff member I met were incredibly friendly and helpful. The penny really dropped when I realised the monthly cost (with finance) was about the same as my contact lenses were costing, and I would only need one day off work. My surgeon Dr Shadow Rehman was perfect from start to finish, and I was very pleased to be able to meet him in the appointment before my surgery. His aftercare was also very thorough - I always felt in very safe hands. The surgery itself is certainly a strange experience, but is over very quickly and I could see the results immediately. I went home, slept overnight and woke up with better than 20-20 vision. No pain at any stage, just lots of eye drops for a couple of weeks. I can't recommend Optegra enough based on my experience in their London hospital. My eyes were both -9 when I went in and I'd been wearing glasses for 25 years. Life-changing doesn't go far enough! Thanks again to the whole team, and especially Dr Rehman.

I met Mr Rehman three times before I completed my surgery at the Leeds Optegra Clinic. Everyone explained things thoroughly to me, answered all my questions and made me confident that I had made the right choice. My surgery was almost pain free, just a bit of discomfort for a couple of days, I was able to see immediately and all of my follow up appointments were with the same team. Life changing ... I had LASIK eye surgery with Mr Rehman at the Leeds Laser Centre and can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. My vision is incredible. I no longer need to worry about planning my lenses, the time they’ve been in for or the dryness when you fall asleep in them by accident! The staff at the Leeds clinic were superb, very friendly and informative, from the moment you have your first consultation, right through to the final sign off visit. The surgery was quick and painless. The new vision was instant and the aftercare was very clearly explained. The redness lasted longer than I expected, but it was all gone after a couple of months. I also experienced dryness in the eyes so drops were a regular part of my day for a couple of months. I can honestly say it is definitely worth it. I am in my mid 20s and advise anyone considering it to do it sooner rather than later. You will really feel the benefit and get the most out of the time without frames!
