I found Mr. Sturridge to be a highly competent surgeon with a most pleasing manner. He answered all my queries with a good sense of humour and gave me the confidence to go ahead with the procedure. The hip operation was highly successful. I had no pain whatsoever and after eight weeks my walking is virtually back to normal.

Mr Sturridge explained the need for the knee replacement operation very clearly, as well as the potential risks. Both he and the anaesthetist met me before and after the operation to explain the procedure and check on short-term progress afterwards. Via his secretary I was able to ask a short follow up question a week afterwards. The sign off after 7 weeks was clear and helpful. I am very pleased with the results of the operation and subsequent physiotherapy.
