I cannot fault the care and attention provided by Mr Sturridge throughout the whole process.

From the beginning to the end of my treatment Mr Sturridge explained everthing that was going to happen, clearly and concisely and put me at my ease. Even during the procedure he and his team explained what they were doing. The procedure has been life changing for me and my wife. I would recommend Mr Sturridge to anyone who had a hip problem.

I have deliberately waited to compile this review, the reason being the initial euphoria of painless walking will wear off so 6 months down the line I am now in reality. The reality is that the initial euphoria has not worn off, and I am so thankful to Seb and his team for giving me my life back I am so pleased that my colleague recommended Seb, and I had the chance to have this done. The whole thing was smooth all the way through and I am so glad to have had it done

Mr Sturridge was recommended to me by several of his previous patients. I was a bit nervous on my first consultation with him but he soon made me feel relaxed and I was able to ask him some aspects of hip replacement procedures etc that were concerning me. We had a pleasant unhurried chat and he explained my concerns. Mr Sturridge visited me after the operation to see how I was recovering and told me that all went well with the operation. He was genuinely happy with my progress when I saw him at nine weeks after the operation (his face was beaming) when watching me walk without crutches, that made me very happy.

Seb is an amazing human being and surgeon. He is very patient, thorough and very clear on what is best for you as a patient short, medium and long term whilst allowing the patient the decision as to what they want to do next. He clarifies risks, supports and guides you as a patient

Mr Sturridge explained all about my operation and what it would be like afterwards very clearly. He told me what to expect and how long it would take to recover and answered all the questions posed and allayed any fears/worries that I had. Saw him on the morning of the operation and the next day. The op site has healed very well and now 7 weeks on my hip is working as if it was the original!

I found Mr Sturridge very approachable and ready to answer obscure questions with patience, making sure I understood what he was saying. He has a very engaging bedside manner. Furthermore, I am really pleased with my speedy recovery from my surgery.
