Mr Jalpota has worked and trained in one of the largest teaching hospitals in the North East, where he was involved in teaching and training of junior doctors. Recently, he moved to Northampton where he worked as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in Northampton General Hospital. He also practices in Three Shires (BMI) Hospital Northampton and Woodland (Ramsay Health) Kettering.

Mr Jalpota has over 30 years of experience in Ophthalmology which has enabled him to deal with simple to complicated cataract surgery, lid surgery and general eye problems.

After training from Moorfields Eye Hospital, he is one of the few Consultant Ophthalmologists in this country who has specific qualification in Laser Refractive surgery to remove glasses.

He has also had the opportunity to learn different techniques of diagnosing ocular disease with ultrasound under the guidance of well-known Prof K.Ossoinig university of Iowa (USA) who coined the term standardised echography which is used for diagnosing various eye conditions.
