I have found Mr Sammy Hanna to be an exemplary practitioner, from his initial diagnosis, through the pre and post operative process.

It was a good experience. Mr Sammy Hanna has an excellent bedside manner. He fully explained the procedure. I was shown before and after X-ray results and am due to visit him again for a post op follow up.

Mr Hanna is a very approachable and capable surgeon. My hip replacement under his care has been a great success. It was very interesting to see my xrays in clinic and listen to his detailed explanation about the type of prosthesis that was used. I am very happy to recommend him to other patients needing a hip opinion.

Dr Hanna is exceptionally qualified, puts an utmost emphasis on patient wellbeing, and takes time to explain the different stages of the treatment. Excellent.

Sammy operated on my left hip last year and I was so pleased with his care that I sought him out to replace my right hip privately recently. I have the utmost confidence in Sammi as skilled surgeon and as someone who puts his patients at ease by giving them full explanations of the alternatives open to them in a friendly and non- condescending manner. Sammi arranged for my surgery efficiently, came to see me in the hospital afterwards, and has subsequently personally telephoned me to check that all is well and begin to arrange my aftercare. I do not think I could have had better treatment and care anywhere and would recommend Sammi to anyone who has suffered arthritis in the way I have done.

I found Sammy to be patient and kind with a good sense of humour and willing to answer questions without making one feel a complete idiot. His follow ups on the telephone (during lockdown) were thorough and reassuring. As for the operation itself - it seemed to go very well although still early days - but I expect to make a full recovery and hope to be back in action soon.

Mr Hanna is a very thoughtful, friendly, caring and skilled surgeon who goes above and beyond for his patients. I had a full knee replacement 2 years ago and I love my new knee. He didn't rush me into surgery I had ultra sound injections and physiotherapy before I had the operation and plenty of time for discussion and explanation before I had the surgery. That feeling of being cared for carried on during and after the surgery. I felt included in every decision regarding my surgery. And he visited me and all his patients on the ward every day until I left hospital after the surgery which was so reassuring. I can't think how my experience could have been improved.

Mr Hanna performed my left total knee replacement two years ago (August 2018) at the Royal London Hospital. I was delighted with my care, and very impressed with his empathetic manner with myself and the other patients in the bay. Everything was explained clearly and unhurriedly, I never had any qualms about asking for further explanation if required. I was , and still am, very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I saw him in clinic this week at RLH, having been referred for severe arthritis in my right hip. Despite the clinic running late , he made sure I had all the time I needed , explained my options fully and gave me all the time I needed to decide. He went out of his way to find a cancellation slot for me, so I could be booked for surgery as soon as possible, for which I am very grateful. I would give him the highest recommendation.
