Mr Hanna recently performed a full hip replacement operation on myself and I was totally impressed by his performance. From the beginning he was clear on the options that were available in regards of my personal situation and once it was clear that surgery was necessary he explained how this procedure would work. During the treatment he was very supportive and his manner was both professional and kind which placed me in as comfortable a position as was possible. During post OP he visited me on several occasions to ensure that I was progressing well and again provided me with all the information that I required. Although no one would wish to have surgery, if I required any treatment in the future Mr Hanna would be my first choice as a doctor.

Dr Hanna provided a very professional service. He listened to my worries and provided sound advice. He gave me some options to consider and explained them thoroughly. My treatment was excellent and I am back running. Which I thought I wouldn't be.

Suffering from severe osteoarthritis of the knee after an old injury, my knee had by now become so painful that the only way out seemed to be a knee replacement. As I'm 'only' 57 years old and extremely active this seemed to be a very radical thing to do at my age - replacements only last so long. And an operation like that would probably stop me from being able to continue the work I do (Assistant Director in film - it's very physical). So I had much to loose - whilst being in constant pain. Not only did Dr Hanna understand my specific situation, he also put me on the course of the best available (non invasive) treatment to manage the situation and avoid knee surgery, hopefully for at least the next 5 to 10 years. He consequently inspired me to build up the muscles in my hip and thigh by strictly following the physiotherapist's instructions and loose 5kg to reach my ideal weight. I thought I was fit before, as I was doing high energy yoga at least 3 times a week, but thanks to the treatment I discovered that the muscles that help protect my knee were totally underdeveloped. Soooo: Thanks to Dr Hanna my pain levels are now absolutely manageable and most importantly I actually understand what I need to do to avoid a premature knee op. His brilliant treatment probably saved the NHS a lot of cash.

Great doctor, because of the outbreak of the covid pandemic, I had phone consultations and follow up, and for both the doctor was really helpful, (and helped me find a place to book an MRI in these difficult times). Follow up consultation very clear and explained very well.
