He put me at ease as soon as sat down explained everything I needed to know my experience was excellent

Mr Hanna performed hip replacement surgery on me in November 2020, and reviewed me in Outpatients yesterday (Monday 17th May 2021). My initial six week follow up had been with one of his team. I was extremely pleased with my treatment throughout. Despite the difficulties of the pandemic, Mr Hanna really put himself out to get a date for my surgery at Newham Gateway, part of Barts Health Trust. Everything went flawlessly, Mr Hanna operated on me himself, and I was delighted with the results. My wound healed perfectly, with minimal scarring, and Mr Hanna managed to equalise my leg length as I had requested (I had significant leg length disparity preoperatively). I would thoroughly recommend him as a surgeon.

Very honest. Ended up sending me on my way without surgery, it would have been far easier for him to convince me to stay and go through with the operation.

Mr Hanna has been relaxed, thoughtful, and accommodating in his treatment of my knee. I find myself surprised at how quickly I have become mobile again.

He brought me up to date and booked me an appointment for in six moths time to have a final test and x-ray. I was very pleased for his consultation and I thanked for the operation and its success.

Mr Hanna answered all my questions reassuringly, reached out to check everything was ok, and most importantly: he did a great job of the surgery.

Excellent, clear explanations and empathetic manner

I found Mr Hanna incredibly personable, professional and very helpful and understanding. He gave very clear explanation of his thoughts and reasoning, using model of the knee to bring to life the discussion. He explained plans for further investigation and once complete a thorough explanation of findings, options and advice.

I was 100% satisfied with the treatment I received from Mr Sammy Hanna. I had a severe pain in my left leg. An initial examination was done by Mr Hanna and he went on to advise a thorough investigation. He explained all the reports to me very well. He was fast, efficient and professional. Mr Sammy Hammy came across as very professional and caring and he did an excellent job on my knee I feel 100 percent confident in his care he is remarkable!!
