Excellent doctor, very smooth recovery.. The only downside I could mention is the communication.. before my operation i felt like the correspondence was very slow, and not effective sometimes

Rob Pollock was completely clear in advance as to what needed doing. He was equally clear after the operation as to what he had done and that the operation had been 100% successful. He also extended my right leg by 1/2 a centimeter to make it the same as my left leg! Altogether a pleasure to deal with and many thanks.

Rob is a fantastic surgeon as well as a great guy. I am an 80 years old reasonably fit male who had suffered for far too long with arthritic knees. I was introduced to" Rob Pollock through a fellow sufferer and after the normal friendly meetings & discussions, etc. I finally underwent bilateral patella forma reconstruction surgery (both knees ON THE SAME DAY) just a few weeks ago. The result is simply amazing. i was walking without any support or aid after 2 days and I am now walking, cycling, swimming far more than I have done for years and all WITHOUT PAIN. I cannot recommend Rob & his anaesthetist team highly enough. I followed Robs exercise regime(fairly) carefully which obviously helped accelerate the recovery period and am now almost ready for shoulder surgery so that I can start playing golf again in the spring (without a buggy) my only regret is that Rob Pollock doesn't do shoulders but happily knows a man that does. Full hip replacement in Jan 2020 at age 57. Just reflecting on recent visit to Lake District during which I walked and climbed for many hours without any problems. All a consequence of the great job done by Mr Pollock - fantastic outcome after a lifetime of compromise.
