Mr Richard Young remained calm and confident throughout which was very much appreciated. Clearly an extremely talented Surgeon, both my surgery and recovery went as planned and in fact from my very first appointment I was put at ease and kept fully informed throughout, with each and every question I put to him answered and explained in a manner I could understand. My expectations were surpassed in every way. Surgery can be a daunting prospect even when planned, but Mr Young has an amazing team working with him and every member of the team I came into contact with treated me in a polite, confident and upbeat way. I would be very happy to visit Mr Richard Young and his team again in the future and can wholeheartedly recommend him.

I recall my first impression of Richard Young was that I was finally in a safe pair of hands. Richard is a gentle, quietly spoken, extremely competent Plastic Surgeon. On my first visit he quickly put me at ease, listened to what I had to say, examined me and explained the treatment required very clearly and answered all my concerns fully. My second visit was for a biopsy, this was the route I had chosen from the choices given to me This was carried out very professionally and again Richard explained everything step by step including how I should look after the wound at home and encouraged me to contact him should I have any concerns. My third visit involved a skin graft under my eye. Needless to say Richard was masterful and worked sympathetically not making the surgery any more invasive than it needed to be. My fourth visit was for the big "peel & reveal" I am delighted with the result. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Richard Young to anyone requiring his Plastic skills.

Mr Young has performed other procedures on me so I was confident in consulting him. That confidence turned out to be entirely justified. His professional and personal manners are exemplary and I really felt cared for. My procedure was carried out without fuss and my after care too. On my final visit to the nurse post-op, he examined me again to check all was well as indeed it was. Also his receptionists and nursing staff deserve a mention for their cheerfulness and efficiency.

He described to me in great detail what the procedure would entail and the results I could realistically expect. He had a quiet and modest manner which put me at ease and the discussions I had with him gave me the confidence to proceed with the treatment.
