I had a wonderful experience with Prof. Chatrath - he was kind and patient and explained everything clearly. I suffered from a eustachian tube dysfunction for a significant period of time, which was resolved within months after treatment with Prof. Chatrath. Highly recommend

Explanation

I saw Prof. Chatrath over the summer of 2022 and had my septorhinoplasty surgery in November that year. He was clear and transparent about the complexity of the surgery, recovery, costs and what I can expect after the procedure. Very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. After the surgery I had 3 post-op appointments with him during which he assessed my recovery, told me how to better manage it and what I can expect in the near future. Given the severity of my septal deviation, I was told in advance my recovery will take longer than for the average patient. First 2-3 days after the surgery I felt very congested, had occasional nose bleeds and struggled to sleep and eat. My general well-being improved after day 4. During the first month of my recovery, breathing through the nose was more difficult than before the surgery and I slept poorly. The second month was about the same as before surgery with several days of noticeable improvement in breathing. This was further complicated by two colds I caught which kept my nose congested for weeks. Three months after the surgery I could finally tell a clear improvement in the airflow through my nose and better quality sleep. Now, after 6 months, I have never breathed so easily. I want to thank Prof. Chatrath for everything, I am grateful for his help and happy I decided to have my surgery with him!

Explanation

Professor Paul Chatrath saved my life: I can breathe again after years of suffering. I visited lots of ENTs before, and nobody managed to make me breathe like normal. When I booked an appointment with Professor Paul Chatrath, he identified the cause of the problem and suggested surgery. I was able to breathe the moment he was doing the operation. It's hard to believe, and I am still amazed by his skills, intelligence, and kindness. We are lucky to have doctors like him in the UK who can change many people's lives. He changed my life after I almost lost hope of getting my breathing back. I suffered for many years, and I visited countless ENT specialists, but none of them made me able to breathe like this. But I am unsurprised as I expected that from an intelligent Cambridge university graduate like Professor Paul. I will be seeing him again in weeks time to follow up. And I will start writing my book that describes the whole thing from the day I have had this problem till the day he treated me. Good luck to him, and I wish him the best in his career. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. Arthur
