Mr Kumar has a very warm and professional manner. He took a lot of time to explain my condition and the options for treatment and allowed me to make up my own mind about how to move forward. He carefully explained what I should expect, the possible complications and aftercare. I felt that his whole approach was person-centred and very much safety focussed. I was kept updated on the results of tests and the arrangements for my hospital admission. My operation was performed expertly and Mr Kumar checked my condition frequently until I was discharged. Despite it being the festive season he even checked in on me daily after discharge to ensure I was recovering as expected and to answer any questions I had. My follow up appointment was also undertaken professionally and he again explained the procedure he had carried out and gave me ample time to ask questions and discuss how I was feeling. I have had an excellent surgical outcome with a complete resolution of my problem and no complications. In summary, I could not have asked for better care and treatment from Mr Kumar.
