Very approachable & informative

On first meeting Mr Kothari, I felt very at ease with him. He really explained due to my age and I had a stroke, I may not come through the operation. But he was willing to go ahead if I saw another surgeon and the anaesthetic, had to have lots of different tests. Luckily I passed these with flying colours and had the operation. He was so helpful leading up to the op, couldn’t have been kinder. I had the breast care nurses available to meet them as and if I needed to. 3 months later I am so pleased I had the care through the several months leading up to the operation

At an extremely difficult, emotional and stressful moment in life, Mr Kothari provided reassurance and relief. At no point in the course of my treatment did I waiver in my trust of his abilities and professionalism and I have been extremely happy with the outcome of the surgery. As important was the mental reassurance and to hear the words 'this is not just treatable, it is curable', made the world of difference to how I then approached future treatment. All explanations and choices were delivered clearly and the ongoing care has been exceptional.

I am so grateful to Mr Kothari not simply for his excellent technical expertise, but equally importantly for his unfailing charm, courtesy and and kindness. He listens well, and takes time to guide and instil confidence in his patients to make the right decisions for their treatment. He's a lovely man.
