About
Mr Lester Barr is a consultant surgeon specialising in the management of breast diseases, with particular expertise in breast cancer, breast reconstruction and oncoplastic surgery. Mr Barr runs a clinic at the Christie Hospital every Tuesday.
Mr Barr is also chairman of the Prevent Breast Cancer Research team, which planned and built Europe's first Breast Cancer Prevention Centre. His research interest is breast cancer prevention.
