Extremely polite and approachable, and explained in detail the problem I was experiencing. With regard to the mitigating surgery, this was explained fully. On the day of surgery, Mr Young visited me to again explain the procedure and run through the plan for the day.

I found Mr. Young very polite, kind & caring , always explaining procedures very fully and filling me with total confidence. My surgery has been very successful and my follow up care excellent.

A surgeon with exceptional experience in using the most modern robot-assisted techniques. He has an excellent bedside manner and explains pros and cons in a clear and sensible manner. He instils great confidence.

On my initial meeting with Mr Young advised that there were other procedures which were less impactful (I was told by NHS that a ‘full knee replacement’ was required) Mr Young thought otherwise and I accepted Mr Youngs advice,went with a ‘unicompartmental/partial knee replacement’.I am happy to report that my recovery time is well ahead of what I had initially expected.
