I went to see Mr Ridha to seek his advice as to what surgery would suit me best. Having had two children by bust never recovered (!) and I was very unhappy with my shape. Mr Ridha discussed all options with me. He advised that he didn't think implants were a good option for me and that an uplift would suit me better. He also mentioned that I could have fat removed from an area of my body and injected into my breasts to give me a fuller figure. Throughout the whole consultation I felt that Mr Ridha was exploring all of the options for me and not suggesting unnecessary surgery. Mr Ridha explained in detail what my surgery would entail and at no point did he put any pressure on me to confirm a procedure. I didn't have to make an instant decision and indeed, was advised to go home and think about what I wanted. I have had my surgery and am extremely impressed with the results. My shape has dramatically improved along with my confidence. I am extremely grateful to Mr Ridha, Teresa and his team for the excellent treatment whilst in hospital and the impeccable aftercare whilst recovering at home. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ridha to others.

In my search for the best plastic surgeons in Hertfordshire I came across impressive reviews for Mr. Ridha. Following two pregnancies and caesarean sections I had lost my natural body shape and developed divarification. I was hoping to return to my original shape was also pressed with time. I contacted Mr. Ridha’s PA Teresa Jellis who is a trained plastic surgery nurse and managed in very short notice to arrange an appointment for me at Pinehill Hospital in July to meet Mr Ridha . In my initial consultation, he listened to my expectations carefully and advised me to have a combined abdominoplasty and liposuction. I also asked about having breast fat grafting at the same time which he agreed to perform. Mr Ridha gave me a clear explanation about the procedures and the outcome in details. I found him to be very polite, professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable talking to him and explaining my concerns. I was really nervous about the surgery but after having two consultation meetings with him I was put at ease and felt confident with my choice of surgeon. I had the procedure in August. My recovery was smooth and complication free considering that I had a very complex procedure. Teresa was extremely supportive and helpful in every step of the way from arranging the appointments in short notice to answering all my questions and most importantly after surgery checking on me to see how I was doing. I must admit the surgery met all my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of surgeon and surgery and pleased with the outcome. I have regained my shape and with that my confidence. I have already recommended Mr Ridha to my friends and am more than happy to consider him for any further procedure I may require in the future.

I contacted Mr. Ridha because of ongoing gynaecomastia. The initial consultation was very clear regarding my expectations and Mr. Hyder Ridha was professional, approachable and gave a clear and concise explanation of what to expect. A fact sheet was provided at the end of the consultation which was useful and referred to prior to the operation and after surgery. My recovery was good with little discomfort and the six weeks' period wearing a compression vest soon passed and I am more than happy with the result. I admit to being sorry that I failed to seek Mr. Ridha's advice sooner. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Hyder Ridha to friends and would even encourage them to seek an early consultation. My final comment relates to Teresa Jellis who was as a trained plastic surgery nurse and is Mr. Ridha's Personal Assistant. She always made herself available to provide support for any concerns or to give explanations relating to recovery. Teresa was always there, and her input gave comfort and confidence.

I found Mr Ridha via the NHS choices website and was confident that he would do a good job. Apart from, private cosmetic surgery, he also works as a consultant in the NHS. I was 68 years old and had been considering cosmetic surgery for a few years. He explained all the options and clearly appreciated that I was not looking for a too drastic change in my appearance, merely a freshioning up. We decided that a lower facelift and eyelid reduction were my best options. He also suggested an improvement in my neck below the chin, which I decided would be a good idea. I had extensive stitching around my ears, hairline, under my chin and on my eyelids and heavy bandaging to start with, but I felt fine. The nurse who attended me was very attentive and made me very comfortable. I left hospital the next day, wearing a protective facemask, which I kept on at night for a week. It was unsurprisingly uncomfortable, particularly the eyelid stitches but not terrible. I recovered well and after I had the stitches out although still swollen and bruised, I could already see the improvement. I am delighted with my surgery; droopy eyelids gone, higher cheeks, and no loose flesh hanging down from my face. When I met people I hadn't seen for a while, afterwards, they said I was looking good, and had I lost weight, but the surgery was subtle enough not to be obvious. There are no visible scars, the ones around the front of my ears have disappeared and there are very faint marks on my eyelids (not visible with a bit of make-up). The other scars are all in my back hairline, and apart from a bit of numbness around my ears, I have healed very well. I ought to mention that my husband is delighted! I would really recommend Mr Ridha to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

When I initially met Mr. Ridah for my first consultation for Gynaecomastia , I was impressed by his professionalism and ability to put me at ease with his friendly manner. He was extremely honest and clear about treatment options and outcomes explaining the risks and benefits . He also showed me photographs of ‘before and after’ operations that he had performed which I found particularly helpful in demonstrating the options. I was also struck by his need for me to be absolutely certain that I was approaching surgery with a clear understanding of all that this entailed. He recommended a second consultation in order to give time for me to be certain about surgery before going ahead. This was my first operation and I was nervous. He patiently answered all my questions and was reassuring in his manner . I was hoping he would be able to help me with a a problem which had been causing me embarrassment for many years and after our discussions I felt I trusted him completely in achieving this for me. The whole experience was very straightforward. I stayed in hospital for one night only and had to wear fairly tight bandages across my chest for a week . There was a little discomfort but this was managed effectively with pain killers. I then wore a a tight vest for 6 weeks afterwards and was delighted with the result . Mr. Ridah is without doubt an exceptionally skilful surgeon and I would recommend him without hesitation - in fact my brother has since had surgery with him as a result of me speaking so highly of him!

I went to Mr Ridha for a breast augmentation consultation in June with the hope of having the procedure in July/ early August. After a poor experience with another company I was very nervous, but as soon as I requested contact about the procedure I had a phone call from his lovely PA (Teresa) who was so kind and accomodating I was instantly happy and trusted them as a team. All of my initial questions were answered and an appointment was made swiftly- with written confirmation. On the day, Mr. Ridha was extremely polite and honest which is exactly what I wanted in a surgeon. From the moment I stepped into the room he made me feel at ease and comfortable in what could be quite an awkward situation. After listening to what I was looking for he asked a couple of questions to ensure he could offer the best advice to proceed and ensure a succesful, long term result (i.e imminenet future life plans that may have impacted the result of surgery). He happily looked at some of my "inspiration" images, talked through (and showed) me different implant types and told me his honest recomendations for my body shape, size and skin availability on my chest, all the while taking into consideration what I wanted. He clearly explained the procedure, his prior work and any possible complications in detail, checking that myself and my husband understood; allowing us to interject with questions- which were all answered thoroughly. He also obligingly showed me a selection of images of his previous surgeries and clearly took pride in his work; demonstrating that his priority was meeting his patients' needs and wanting to create the best aesthetic look he could for them. I have no doubt that he is extremely experienced and professional and is 100% confident with this procedure and what he can do for me. A key part of this consultation was how he was able to create a virtual simulation (Crisalix) showing a selection of silicone types with my own body by taking pictures of my top half. This helped to visualise what I actually wanted. When I was uncertain, he happily created more according to my new expectations and sent them over promptly. This simulation has been incredible and being able to access it at home, with my own account, meant that I could really take the time to think through what I wanted with visual support, rather than trying to remember something from my consultation or equally picture something with my own imagination. Although it is not an 100% accurate representation it definitely helped to make a final deciaion. After the consultation, I asked for further images and liaised a lot with Teresa (even though she was on holiday!) who answered every single question and got back to me quickly for the ones she had to investigate first. Talking to her quite frequently felt like talking to someone I had known for years, even though we are yet to even meet! Once I had made my decision I sent all the details over to confirm and received paperwork and a pre-op assessment appointment within a week. I have had regular contact about my surgery and what to expect and have assurance and trust that Teresa is always at the end of the phone if I need her or Mr Ridha. Overall, I could not be happier with Mr Ridha (and Teresa) so far. I am scheduled to have my surgery in a week and am certain that I will be treated in the same way I have been so far- with care, kindness and putting my needs at the forefront. I have full confidence in them.

This is my second time to see Mr Ridha, last year I had filler injections underneath my eyes to enhance the look as my tear troughs had sunken. They have been great so much so I came back for a top up this year and they look and feel great again. The treatment is not painful, Mr Ridha is clear every step of the way, gives great advice and personable. My partner dealt with Teresa and on both occasions has been really personable. It doesn’t feel clinical when I see Mr Ridha and I would highly recommend him for treatment. Thanks again and see you again soon!

I recently wanted my lips fuller and my lines around that area less obvious, so I opted for some filler treatment with Mr Ridha, who had come recommended. Firstly Teresa his secretary, was supportive every step and post treatment too! I was nervous originally as this was my first time for any kind of treatment however Mr Ridha was great, very reassuring, personable, wasn’t eager to over do the treatment, so you didn’t feel rushed as had the opportunity to go back for a top up, which I did. I am really happy with the results so far, I already know I will be back again. I can highly recommend Mr Ridha, and Teresa. They make a great team!

Having had a recent breast reduction under the care of Mr Ridah, i have found him very professional and have felt incredibly well looked after, by himself and his PA Teresa. He listened carefully to my requirement, has reduced my breasts to a size very much more suited to my frame (34jj >34d). He made me feel comfortable at all times and I was certainly not rushed into any decisions. The immediate result of surgery was far less pain than expected, plus there was no external stitches or bandaging, just internal stitches and tape, so I could see the initial results straight away. The scars are astonishingly neat! The recovery has been pretty comfortable, with almost daily calls from Teresa to check on how I was doing and allowing for any questions at any time, in fact I had many calls before hand to assuage any worries. I am utterly ecstatic with the results so far (6 weeks), and the standard of care and end result.

I had been toying with the idea of fillers to my lips for sometime. The ageing process hasn't been kind and I have noticed that I was really losing the volume. I was very anxious as I wanted something very subtle but having spoke to a couple of people that have had work carried out by him I decided to take the plunge. The whole process was very smooth.He was very professional and obviously knows his stuff. He took time to understand what I was trying to achieve, even making me aware that my lips weren't symmetrical (something I had never even noticed myself) and that whilst he would try to correct this there might always be a slight difference. There was minimal discomfort at the time of the injection and following the procedure there was no bruising and very minimal swelling. I am really very happy with the results, it looks very natural ( not a trout pout in sight!!) my lips are lovely and soft with no lumpiness. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other people, in fact my Husband is booking in for injections too.
