After over 20 years of being very self-conscious and dissatisfied with the loose skin around my tummy, I decided to have Tummy Tuck. Right from the initial consultation, I felt very at ease and confident in Dr Ridha. Dr Ridha fully explained the procedure and the results I personally was likely to see based on my body type and he also showed me different photographs to help me visualise this. I felt that I had the opportunity to ask everything I needed to and didn’t feel rushed at all. I also met the anaesthetist with Dr Ridha at a preoperative appointment and he provided me with reassurance as I was quite nervous about the general anaesthetic. The operation went smoothly and even the day afterwards when I briefly saw my tummy I was delighted. The initial pain and discomfort was manageable and wore off are a few days and after a few weeks the swelling reduced significantly and I started to see my new Tummy take shape. The pre-operative support and after care was brilliant and Dr Ridha’s PA maintain regular contact with me, especially post-surgery to check I was okay and answer any questions. How my tummy looks has continued to improve in the last 6 months and has significant exceeded my expectations and I wish I had this done years ago.

The first time I met Mr Ridha I knew he was the surgeon for me I told him my story & he seemed to know exactly what I wanted & would want from surgery. He made me feel very confident & comfortable in the procedure I had chosen he also made me feel reassurance & trust in himself he would achieve the best possible outcome for me. He has changed my life, given me back the confidence I had lost & I will be eternally grateful to him for that.

I came to Mr Ridha as I have struggled with self confidence due to the appearance of my ears. After two previous operations with a different surgeon- I did not have my desired look. With regards to my previous experience I had gone with 'earfolds'; although the ears did get pinned back to a certain extent. One of my ears did not sit well with the ear fold device (there was still slight prominence and the earfold was visible) which did not help with my already low self esteem. After what was a stressful period of time I came to the conclusion that I had to visit another plastic surgeon and get advice. After months of saving for the surgery I came to Mr Ridha, I was initially nervous and worried that he would not be able to help. However, I was put to ease straight away. His professionalism was beyond my expectations while being extremely honest about what he could offer. After I explained my situation he listened carefully and offered his opinion about what he could do. Mr Ridha showed me the results of previous pinnaplasty he has performed. I was impressed with the results and how natural the ears looked. I wanted to proceed with the operation and so it went ahead. I have had experience with the operation before so I was already aware of what was to come. On the day of operation, I was excited yet nervous. The operation went well, I saw straight away the result and was impressed. Although I knew there was the process of healing to come. I will be honest there was a bit of pain (although not unbearable) and the swelling was not pleasant, though the headband looked smart. As the operation was a day case I was able go home fairly soon after the operation. Yet I was never without support, Mr Ridha and his extremely supportive and friendly secretary Teresa kept me at ease as I know they were only a phone call away. Teresa kept in touch with me throughout the process and how the healing was going. At one point I asked Teresa for advice and straightway I was given assistance. As weeks went by and the swelling slowly went down, I could see how the ear looked. I could not have asked for more, I am still impressed with how Mr Ridha pinned back my ear. I would recommend Mr Ridha to anyone who is thinking about having their ears pinned back. It is not cheap however nothing worthwhile is. I cannot recommend Mr Ridha enough . It took me many years to finally decide I wanted to take the plunge and have a breast reduction . I started my research based on my nearest private hospital and then looked at all surgeons who who specialised in my particular need . Mr Ridha stood out because all reviews mentioned how he interacted with patients . His caring bedside manner . From my initial consultation I felt at ease with him . Mr Ridha explained absolutely everything to us in layman’s terms ( including my hubby ) . He showed us diagrams , discussed the possible pitfalls also . Straight away without seeing anyone else we decided he was the surgeon for me . The operation couldn’t have gone better and the down time was minimal . Mr Ridha visited me later in the evening after my operation . He really cares so much about his patient and a great outcome .He is a talented plastic surgeon . I am absolutely delighted with my results so far . I am only 4 weeks post surgery and the results are fabulous. As well as all the above Teresa Jellis ( Mr Ridha’s PA ) was in constant contact with me both before , and after my surgery . She was and still is such a great support to me . Daily call checking to see how I was . I could ask any questions and Teresa always had the answer . I felt she helped me so much . Even today I sent a text which she responded to straight away . I felt extremely confident that I had chosen the right Surgeon after my first consultation. Mr Ridha is approachable and understanding when we discussed which Surgery I wanted. On the morning of Surgery I was reassured with the relaxed, friendly manner he and his Team gave. The hospital care was excellent as was the aftercare at home. With daily phonecalls to check how I was feeling. I was surprised how little swelling, bruising and pain I had! I am now two months post surgery and extremely happy with the results as I wanted a very natural look. I would definitely recommend Mr Hyder Ridha as a conciencious experienced Plastic Surgeon .

I am more than happy with the professional expertise and care I received from Mr Hyder Ridha and his team. Mr Ridha is a friendly and approachable man who oozes a quiet confidence that immediately transfers to his patients. I was so pleased with the surgery: it went very well, I bounced back quickly, there was very little pain and the scar was neat and healed at speed. Everything is explained carefully and thoroughly and the aftercare was truly excellent. This is the first time I've ever had this type of surgery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Ridha and his team to my family and friends should the need arise.

I met Mr Hyder Ridha for my initial consultation for breast augmentation at my local private hospital. Mr Ridha was very kind and extremely informative and talked me through the process of the operation and answered any questions I had. I felt completely at ease. After taking some photos, using a programme he was able to show me different sized and shaped implants and what they would look like on my body. Mr Ridha emailed me the Crisilix programme so I could view the images at home to help me make my decision. The operation went really well, and the recovery process wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. I have been in regular contact with Mr Ridha’s PA since my op who has been wonderful from start to finish. I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole process and would not hesitate to recommend Mr Ridha to others. I am very happy with the outcome of my surgery.

A great experience at the hands of Mr. Ridha. I had a Bilateral Gynaecomastia correction. Starting with my consultation, Mr.Ridha listened to me and made me feel at ease, listening to my concerns and aspirations so that he could fully understand me and what was required. The Surgery went well and I am very pleased with the outcome some 10 weeks later. Recovery from me has been good but I did follow instruction to the letter, I was also delighted with the constant follow up from Teresa, Mr.Ridha's PA, who was very knowledgeable, caring and helpful. I will see Mr. Ridha, 6 months after surgery for my final sign off, the results to date are fantastic and I would 100% recommend to family, friends and indeed anybody who was thinking of having similar surgery.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2019 and felt overwhelmed. The path I chose after consultation was to have a mastectomy and I wanted reconstruction. It was at this point that my breast surgeon, Harleen Deol referred me to Mr Ridha. As anxious, scared and unnerved as I was, I found Mr Ridha to be calm, certain and containing. He looked me straight in the eye, pulling his chair up and clearly explained my options of reconstruction, providing options and allowing me choices and direction out of the frightened place I found myself in. I found him hands on, caring and direct. I felt safe. Before during and after the reconstruction, Mr Ridha was accessible and followed through, seeing me as I needed. He was able to then create out of an empty breast a beautiful new breast, like a sculptor from the inside. The result is unbelievable. His attention to every detail and exacting standards are outstanding. Managing the process is Theresa Jellis, his PA, available night and day. She is caring and thoughtful. In my journey she provided the exact amount of care I needed and follow up. Being both gentle and firm, which was exactly what I needed. The degree of personalised care facilitated my healing.

In my opinion, Mr Ridha is a gifted plastic surgeon who I would highly recommend to anyone. Having been diagnosed with breast cancer and needing a double mastectomy, my consultant recommended that I meet with Mr Ridha and discuss the various options. I cannot thank him enough for all the care, professionalism and dedication. The operation was incredibly long and the insurers were unnecessarily difficult. However, what shone through was the dedication of Mr Ridha and those that assisted him with my surgery. It was also very obvious when I was in the hospital that he was held in high esteem by the other medical staff- not just his patients. Mr Ridha has very uniquely recruited a plastics nurse (Theresa) as his PA which just added to my feeling of being very well looked after post-surgery. Theresa is a wonderful lady that was always available to provide advice and reassurance and this she did with the medical knowledge of having worked in plastics for many years. Theresa also went well above and beyond what I could have ever expected. I consider myself very fortunate to have come under the care of such a talented surgeon and will be eternally grateful.
