About
Mr Geoffrey Koffman is a Consultant Renal Transplant Surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He is based at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust but also performs private work at London Bridge Hospital.
He qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1970, before undertaking specialist training in Renal Medicine and Transplant Surgery. He has been a Consultant Surgeon in adult and children's transplantation at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 1985. He has been the Director of Transplantation since 1998 and a Deputy Medical Director from 2011. In 2010 he was appointed the Clinical Director of Abdominal Medicine and Surgery
Alongside his clinical work, he is also an examiner in The Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations and was also an adviser to the Parliamentary Ombudsman in 2012.
