Mr Elson care and attention was first class, from the onset of my consultations to the day my surgery he kept me informed on all aspects of my procedure . His aftercare was first rate. A thoroughly exceptional experience.

I have had several operations on both of my knees from lots of differ each surgeons. My experience with Mr Elson was entirely unique. His willingness to give his own time (including calling me personally on a Friday evening) to discuss the options available to me was a level of service, care and dedication I have never experienced before.

Mr David Elson was fantastic. From my initial pre op appointment, through to the day of surgery he was amazing but more importantly was his ability to restore my mobility via ACL reconstruction. Excellent, David came into the pod I was waiting in , where I was waiting to go into what I thought was my achilles being stitched back together in surgery . He went through the options available to me after I completely ruptured my right achilles tendon after explaining everything in great detail, one of the options was a speed bridge to my achilles which meant I could possibly be walking again within 2 to 4 weeks depending on healing time etc, surgery was great well as much as it can be haha. I revisited David after 13 days to see how I was getting on with the repair and asked me to remove the moon boot and put my trainer on to see if I had any use of my foot and unbelievably I was able to walk although a little bit stiff for a few days afterwards it was excellent as I had read up about my injury and everything was pointing towards a 6 month recovery in a plaster cast which I was devastated at the thought of. After only 14 days off work, I was back in work driving my car and just back to normal which honestly I was absolutely delighted with. I am about 6 weeks after surgery now and I am almost back to normal I really cannot recommend David enough and thank him for the whole experience that I was absolutely dreading.. I have spoke to alot of people about the speed bridge and nobody has heard of it one of my friends were off work for 9 months with the same injury and alot of physio to get him to were I was after only 13 days! And all of this was in the middle of one of the Covid 19 lock downs and the team were just working through as normal really amazing team I have got to say!!
