From my initial consultation, Mr Holton was very ‘tuned in’ to my issues which needed resolving. After I’d explained to him about the information and suggestions which had been made to me for at least 5 years prior to this conversation, he was very prompt at offering me his honest opinions on which way might be best for me to move forwards in respect of my deteriorated left hip joint. All the pros and cons by having surgery were clearly explained and very easy for me to understand and for me to make my own decisions from that point. It was decided that a full hip joint replacement would be the best option even at my relatively young age for such surgery. The knowledge and skills which Mr Holton possesses, are now very apparent! I’m very pleased to say I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring the same or similar approach of surgery to what I’ve received. The outcome is amazing! The healing process was very successful without any sign of infection whatsoever. My range of movement within the new hip joint is 100%, with no stiffness or awkward motion from within. Aftercare was very clearly explained with all the necessary information packs given to me before being discharged. Mr Holton is a very clever gentleman and a master at his trade, very easy to talk to, very informative when explaining all of my options and when answering any questions which I had.

Mr Holton always gave the time to answer my questions and I'm very happy with the care I have received under him, and the outcome of my surgery.

Notwithstanding the reason for having to see Mr Holton, I cannot fault my experience at any stage of the process. Despite, I imagine, being very busy and under pressure he always presented as having time, patience, and understanding; not to mention being an excellent surgeon.

Mr Holton has done both my hips so I have a matched pair and they are perfect. I had my first hip done 7 years ago and it has been brilliant. Mr Holton was amazing and explained everything in detail to put your mind at rest and I would certainly recommend him.
