Mr Barun Majumder is a leading Vascular Surgeon in the UK, working with BMI Healthcare at for the NHS at Ashford and St Peters Foundation Trust. He has special interests in DIABETIC FOOT PROBLEM . He also has wide experience in open aortic, carotid and lower limb reconstruction, minimally invasive vein treatment, diabetic limb salvage and redo vascular surgery.

Mr Majmunder graduated from Calcutta National Medical College in India where he was awarded for his outstanding excellence in physiology, before moving to Scotland to continue his career as a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. His is heavily involved in various research projects with multiple accredited publications and is a tutor for basic surgical skills and entrance course at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) with a certificate in educational supervision and teaching. He is a member of the British Medical Association and the British Society of Endovascular Therapy.

In his scarce free time, he enjoys cooking and plays classical and flamenco guitar.
