Mr Haq is one of the nicest consultants I have ever met. The procedure he did seems to be successful as I have not suffered as a result and as it's internal that's my best judge of the treatment. He is utterly professional but personable and warm at the same time. He did not act as rushed as many consultants can be. Highest score!

Mr Haq is an incredible surgeon, and it’s a pleasure to be his patient. He is very knowledgeable and throughly cares, nothing is to small or big. I have some complex medical needs and had anorectal surgery with him, which covered a few things in one go. Throughout my care he made himself available for any symptoms or concerns I had, took all my symptoms seriously and listened patiently and tried to get to the bottom of it. Plus wherever you go around the hospital any mention of his name, staff rave about what a pleasure he is, clearly a kind and decent person to all. He also has an excellent team of PAs who support him, who are diligent, timely and friendly. It’s not fun to have surgery but Mr Haq and his team certainly make it less of an ordeal and as pleasant as possible. I would recommend Mr Haq to anyone who wants an experienced, knowledgable surgeon who is kind and always puts his patients first.

Mr Haq explained the procedure that I had, with clarity and detail, ensuring I was aware of what might / might not happen. At all times I felt that he had my best intersts at the forefront of his treatment. In the circumstamces of my operation I felt as safe and comfortable as could be possible. Mr Haq kept myself amd my partner up to date at all times with all aspects of my operation and subsequent aftercare. This involved telephone comversations to my home in the evenings.
