Our experience with Mr Al Chami has been extremely positive. A very calm and reassuring manner and thorough explanations about treatment rationales, arriving at treatment decisions together with adequate knowledge and without any pressure or concerns that he had anything but our best interests (and ultimately results) in mind. After a number of failed IVF attempts at a different clinic, we met Dr Ali Al Chami at our free mini consultation at CRGH in August 2019. He was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, had a great personality and really listened to our case and past IVF history. The treatment plan he suggested, in our view, made the most sense to us compared to the other doctors we'd met. On this basis we chose CRGH as our next IVF clinic. We then booked a full consultation with him where we went through our medical history in more depth. We were able to start treatment straightaway. Dr Ali Al Chami was extremely accommodating and worked closely with his team to ensure all necessary tests were completed in time for us to start without delays. Overall, our experience was smooth and incredibly positive, we cannot recommend Dr Ali and his team highly enough. Fingers crossed, we are currently 10 weeks pregnant and are grateful beyond words for his expertise and his belief in us. I met Dr. Ali as 42-year-old women having had one miscarriage since trying to conceive from 40 years old. After our initial tests, Dr. Ali confirmed what we suspected, that my age was indeed indicative of low egg reserves and therefore a 2% chance of getting a good quality egg from my ovaries with IVF. Dr. Ali suggested from the beginning that we consider a donor egg as there was a high chance of failure trying to get my own eggs to create a viable pregnancy. He also explained at length, never ever rushing us to make our choices, every option we had, every procedure the clinic offered, and what was sensible and what was not. This tailored and thorough advice shows Dr. Ali's manner, he tells you your best options - all of them - to make sure you understand the most likely outcomes and all the costs. He is caring and honest and at no stage did we not feel we were getting his absolute best advice - he was always available for additional questions through his PA. Balancing our options and budget, we were lucky enough to be able to afford to try many of the tests and procedures, and by having access to Dr. Ali's expertise and the clinics' best practices we were able to get just one embryo that made it. I'm now 44 years old and 26 weeks pregnant with my own egg and my husband's sperm (Jan 2020). You can't even attempt this journey unless you know your budget, understand your options and have the best team supporting you, and a leading clinic. Dr. Ali and CRGH is what worked for us. Shout out to the embryologists at CRGH for their expertise and answering all my emails, and Dr. Chaza the sonographer who kept my spirits up when we had so much failure before our final success.

What a wonderful human being Mr. Ali Al Chami is. From the moment we had the initial IVF appointment we felt at ease. The clinic at CRGH is very accommodating to same-sex couples and Mr. Al Chami couldn't have made us feel more welcome. His treatment protocol was spot on, we had one round of IVF and every step of the way we felt supported. I cannot recommend him highly enough, he is one in a million.

Posting on behalf of my wife: Our experience of Dr Al Chami is nothing but high praise. He is a very knowledgeable consultant and provided the best tailored advice for my needs. I have had a difficult past history with trying to have a baby and he took on board all aspects of my medical history and my partners. His mannerism is something every consultant should adopt, even when delivering difficult messages he always had a positive response and provided options. He eased our concerns and endless worrying with medical facts and cases of success, this helped us remain positive and hopeful which was key for us in this journey. Dr Al Chami is informative and always knew our case and background without having to re-ask, this facilitated quick decision making and allowed us to make informed decisions with ample time to digest and make arrangements where appropriate. During IVF, couples want to carry out all tests available and take every tablet available to help with the process, Dr Al Chami advised us what would benefit us and what is unnecessary, this was very useful and my partner and I felt we could approach him with any issues or queries. I would highly recommend Dr Al Chami as the bespoke care and advice can be rare to find.

Dr Ali is very experienced.. he is also very kind and compassionate.. he follows up and stays in touch with the patient all through out the treatment and is easy to get in touch with at any time.. its a very difficult journey but Dr Ali makes it seem easy and gives hope to his patients...
