Lianne Brunton is a skilled and experienced physiotherapist. Her specialist interests include running injuries, shoulder injuries, sports injuries, knee injuries, tendon injuries, hip conditions, concussion management, and pre and post-operative rehabilitation, with a particular focus on adolescent sports injuries.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Lianne has a strong passion for sports, particularly rugby, hockey, and hiking. She is actively involved in the sports community and currently holds positions as a Specialist MSK physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine and as a Contract Physiotherapist with the Scottish Rugby Union, Scottish Hockey Men’s Senior and U21 teams. She also serves as the Head Physiotherapist at Waterboys Rugby 7’s.

Lianne's work experience includes roles at Balanced Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, St Andrews Rugby Club, Howe of Fife RFC, and as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist at a private sports injury clinic in Fife. She has also gained valuable experience as a physiotherapist for events such as the London Marathon and with sports teams such as the Crusaders Rugby in New Zealand.

Lianne has also pursued additional qualifications and training, including obtaining the SCRUMCAPS Pitchside Trauma qualification, as well as certifications in Dry Needling, Shockwave Therapy, and Spinal Manipulation. She is an active member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM) and has presented at prestigious conferences such as The All Together Better Health Conference in Pittsburgh, USA.
