I would recommend Mr Jason Ho. My only reservation was the explanation of the face cover as described before.

I was diagnosed with having epiretinal membranes in both eyes that was making it difficult to read. During my first consultation, he took time show me the scan of my eyes what the problem was and what could be done to rectify it. He also made me aware of what the likely outcome of the procedure would be. His knowledge of the subject gave me the confidence to have the proposed eye surgery. At no time did I feel rushed to make a decision. Jason performed the surgery to remove the membrane from my right eye the following week and few months later he removed cataracts from both eyes. He is well liked by the theatre staff and also highly regarded. In the theatre he is quick and thorough, whilst ensuring that I was informed what he was doing at each step of the procedure. I have had a number of follow up consultations with Jason and I am pleased to say my eyesight has improved. My experience with Jason has been a positive one and I am pleased to have found such a warm and talented doctor.

I recently received treatment from Mr Jason Ho for herpes zoster keratouveitis ( a type of shingles), and although the treatment is continuing, the results have already exceeded my expectations. Mr Ho provided me with exceptional care and expertise throughout the entire process. Mr Ho took the time to listen to my concerns, and his excellent communication skills made it easy for me to understand the nature of my eye condition and the recommended treatment. I suffered a fully detached retina in my right eye, macula off, with no warning, overnight, with no pain, in September 2020. It was terrifying. My husband drove me to the Eye Unit at Reading. Despite being during covid, I was seen straight away (with full covid precautions). 3 days later, Jason Ho operated to save my sight. I followed his instructions precisely with regard to keeping still for 2 weeks, and taking all prescribed eye drops. After about 2 weeks, 90% of my sight had been restored - I have a little more now. 3 years on, I am delighted to say that the eye is still doing well with no relapse. Jason Ho is superb, so calm and helpful. I can 100% recommend him. He's a wonderful man, skilled surgeon and I am forever truly grateful.

I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Dr. Jason Ho who operated on me in an emergency for a detached retina followed by a cataract operation 18 months later. I was experiencing severe vision loss due to a detached retina, and I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Dr. Ho was able to successfully repair the retina and prevent any further damage. Having subsequently developed a cataract, Dr Ho also performed the cataract operation with great skill and care, and I am now able to see clearly with both eyes.
