I found Mr Ahmed a very personable, and outstanding consultant. He took a very careful and focused history of my problems (hoarseness and throat clearing). He then carried out an endoscopic examination of my pharynx and vocal cords without causing me any discomfort whatsoever. Thus, he was able to show that there was no sinister cause for my problems. Furthermore, he was able to give a probable explanation for my complaints, and how these could be dealt with in practice. He was also very happy to let us video the endoscopic examination for our grandson, who we knew would be very interested.

Mr Ahmed took an appointment with me on short notice as I was in a lot of pain. He was very friendly and put me at ease from the start. He diagnosed a quinsy and put me on medication which removed all my pain within a day and the swelling has come down completely after a few days. He was very helpful with his recommendations on what to do if things persisted - would definitely see him again if I have any more similar issues.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr Ahmed, he solved a problem that I had been dealing with for almost two years in the space of a week.
