Dr Griffin gained her medical qualifications at St Bartholomew's Medical School, University of London, qualifying in 1993, after which she completed her MD at University College London. She then undertook and completed basic and specialist neurological training at various prestigious institutes in London, including Queen's Square, The Royal London Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Charing Cross Hospital. Upon completion of her training, she was appointed Consultant at St Georges Hospital, where she was since made remarkable contributions to the Traumatic Brain Injury service. Dr Griffin has also authored numerous peer reviewed papers on the subject of brain injury.

Dr Griffin was so kind, understanding and knowledgeable. She set my mind at ease following a bad accident and took time to answer any questions I had. She explained the recovery process in careful detail and recommended which consultants I should see next to aid my recovery. I can’t thank her enough for her support.

My experience with Dr. Griffin during my first consultation was exactly as I had expected; she was pleasant, opinionated (I like professionals to be strong about their beliefs), helpful and thorough. I overheard the outpatient receptionist at Parkside hospital complaining to her about me even though I had requested him only once to find out if the doctor actually was aware of my presence. I was glad Dr Griffin didn't take it seriously and the appointment went quite well.
