About
Mr Sam Church is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He qualified from the University of London in 1995, trained in orthopaedics and passed his FRCS (Tr&Orth) exam in 2004.
Mr Church specialises in all aspects of knee surgery. His daily practice includes the management of meniscal injuries, complex ligament reconstructions and joint replacements. Mr Church's is particularly interested in anterior knee pain in athletes and the treatment of lateral patellar overload syndrome.
Mr Church has a keen interest in research and has contributed to numerous publications in the field of soft tissue knee surgery. He is actively involved in education as well. He lectures regularly on anterior knee pain, advanced knee examination and complex knee ligament reconstruction and is a faculty member on orthopaedic training courses.
