I visited Dr. Pitcher after having blood in my stools and having lost significant weight. He did colonoscopy and endoscopy and said I have functional gut disorder probably due to anxiety and dismissed the case without explaining anything or what I should eat etc. . I really thought it was a thrash can analysis. After a month I went to an ENT speciality and he said I have silent reflux and hence my tonsils, upper tongue was swollen and my teeth were getting eroded - after this I indeed noticed that acid was backing up into my throat. 3 months fast forward the blood in stools started again and I am by no means anxious or even depressed. It's sad that he did not dig a little deeper into this matter and was a bit in a hurry to do the procedure but not much explanation apart from asking me to go see a psychologist after that!!!

A lovely man, but unfortunately no follow up on actions he was going to implement after my consultation., very disappinting !
