Dr Kwan correctly diagnosed a rare condition, which had been missed by all the other doctors I had consulted. He arranged specific tests and explained his conclusions clearly and sensitively, given the life-changing implications. He scheduled my consultations at short notice and answered my questions very promptly. I will always be grateful for his help and expertise.

We initially approached Dr Kwan for my mothers kidney disease which is at the late stages due to diabetics. In the space of couple of months under the supervision of Dr Kwan, we see a huge improvement to our mother's quality of life. Unlike so many experts who deal with the symptoms, he has taken a holistic approach towards the root causes. This has so far resulted in a significant reduction of our mothers medication with the added benefit of removing their side effects. He has also taken charge of my mothers diabetics alongside the kidney issues, and in the space of couple of months has managed to reduce her insulin need from 24units to 4units a day- something that none of the previous diabetics experts had managed to do!! In addition, at each appointment Dr Kwan provides so much explanation and guidance which helps the patient/carer in understanding what to look out for/ what to avoid/ what to do / what to eat etc- this has been extremely valuable to me as the carer as it gives me confidence that I am doing the right things. He has also been available to address any urgent questions/issues. All in all, our family feels extremely blessed that we have Dr Kwan to look after our mother.

I started consulting with Dr Kwan in Sierra Leone after dealing with frank hematuria for 6 months non stop with no conclusive diagnosis. From the onset he showed professionalism coupled with empathy and reassurance which helped alleviate a lot of my distress. I later travelled to the UK for in person follow up. Dr Kwan provided efficient and effective strategies to dealing with my case. Within a few weeks I had surgery and the hematuria was resolved. He was with me every step of the way. I highly recommend him, and truly grateful for all his help.

The best bedside manner of any doctor I've have ever dealt with, and incredible sense of humor and demeanor that puts you at ease whilst explaining process/procedures/results in a clear and informative way. Highly recommended.
