I found Mr Khan exceptional from start to finish. From the first time I had my issue, the whole consultancy experience was excellent.. Mr Khan explained everything so I understood and was available/supportive from the initial appointment up to and including my review post operation. I am 76 years old and caught polio when 10 months old. It left me with a seriously deformed foot and ankle and could only walk in large orthotic boots with a caliper. When I was referred to Mr Khan he suggested he might be able to correct it and I may be able to walk in normal shoes. After explaining the operation and that it may not produce the required result, I agreed to go ahead and had the operation in April 2022, it was a complicated procedure taking 5 hours, with a lot of metalwork inserted. The operation was a complete success, after 3 months I am now walking in normal shoes and couldn't be happier with the result. Mr Khan was very friendly and professional throughout from initial consultation to final discharge after 6 months.

Dr. Khan is very personable and takes the time to explain the options and outcomes of each. Despite being a surgeon, he doesn't push you into choosing surgery unless he thinks it's the best option. He's very friendly but it never makes you question his competence as a doctor. He's very good at simplifying medical jargon and techniques so that you are aware of the risks and comfortable with the option you're choosing.

When I first met Mr Khan I was nervous and concerned as he looked very young, but he soon put me at ease. I was pleasantly surprised when he explained very clearly what he would do for my feet. He was extremely polite and understanding, which helped disperse my fears of having the operation. Mr Khan was very organised and much in control. Especially during my operation I could see him supervising the two young student surgeons that were working on my feet. Thanks to him the operation went well and was a success. I am very grateful for the excellent job he did .
