I arrived sceptical of group therapy sessions and the 12 step process. As my stay here progressed I found the group therapy sessions extremely helpful, in knowing that others are going through or have gone through what I was going through. The group sessions also improved my confidence. I am now confident in the 12 step process. Particularly the spirituality aspect. Having said that my one to one's with Barbora were essential to my recovery journey.

I cannot fault the staff and there was a real friendly cohesion among the patients. It was hard work but done with humour and hope for a better future for everyone imvolved

Primrose lodge is an excellent place to start any journey into recovery. The therapists and staff are brilliant and take the time to help you with any issues or concerns. The work that we do is relevant, helpful and points you in a much better direction than active addiction

Overall experience I feel has the potential to be life changing, albeit I now have to put into practice the tools and techniques learned.
