Overall my experience was good, and I believe that a person will get as much out of their stay as they put in. The facility is a bit tired, and could Do with a general spruce up. The house keeping standards were under par , and the food very up and down as there were a variety of chefs. Having said all that; I came here for the recovery programme, and this I found to be excellent. Champneys it isn't, but it perfectly suited my needs.

It’s hard to describe how grateful I am for primrose lodge. The staff are so friendly, caring and a crucial part of my recovery. The facilities are clean and well kept and I couldn’t ask for any better.

Overall, the experience was excellent, from the staff through to the detailed therapy programme and access to fellowship meetings. My only criticism centres on the cleanliness of the lodge and lack of investment in the facilities as a whole.
