Wonderful and friendly and food.

Librium medication needed to be resolved quicker. Over concern and slow reaction to blood pressure issues. However did feel I was listened to. Rooms need an overhaul. Door catches, wash hand basins A/Cs with controllers. Perhaps more concentration on root cause analysis.

The staff were friendly and attentive. Always had time no matter how busy. The therapy programme was great for helping provide a structure and coping techniques for my anxiety

I’ve definitely found it helpful- it’s easy to find complaints about inpatient when you have an eating disorder but on reflection the nightingale has given me a springboard into recovery which other places weren’t able to do. Although the rules are very strict and I’ve found it very difficult (especially at first when you’re not allowed out at all) with the lack of freedom- they’re only trying to help and it does benefit you in the long term despite in the short term making your eating disorder angry. Although I must say the quality of the therapeutic support was pretty poor and especially because of covid there weren’t many groups and most are online. Overall though I’ve valued my 6 week stay here.
