Very positive experience .Was very impressed by the kindness and quality of care provided by all the medical/nursing staff.Unfortunately the carpet in my room (225) was a bit shabby and badly stained.I realise this is a separate issue but thought I would mention it.Every member o the nursing team was wonderful caring and helpful.Thank you all so much.

The rooms are lovely and the nurses are wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for more compassion and caring. Special mention to Emma, Judy and Annele on the ground floor team. The living room is a nice place to relax and daily fruit and papers are a nice thought. I have come to think of this place as home and feel saddened and a little unready to be leaving tomorrow. The therapists are engaging and a wonderful support. I would however say that the CBT and IPT sessions are difficult to tell apart in terms of content so can become a little repetitive. I would have given 5 stars had the food been better, as at time it has been pretty ordinary. Still, it’s difficult to find fault with a healing place that has quite possibly saved my life.

I can’t say it’s been easy but I’ve had such great support and genuine care from the staff and other patients. I am sad to be leaving

My experience at the Nightingale has been excellent. The program was varied and effective for my primary and secondary addiction problems. Although the program was intense and tiring, I feel that I have fundamentally changed and am now equipped with the necessary tools to face my addiction and remain in recovery. Lastly, I felt very supported by the nursing staff, who were there to speak to me during difficult times.
