Mr Berber is a very approachable surgeon, and he explained the details of a carpal tunnel release surgery very clearly. The members of his surgical team were equally friendly and I felt at ease and confident in their hands. The preparation and surgery were carried out with a similar sense of unhurried precision. Only issue was that I was sent the wrong date via text for my appointment and when I tried ringing several numbers couldn't get an answer - this was on a Friday/Saturday and my appointment was supposed to be on the Tuesday and it was a bank holiday weekend so I arrived at the hospital on Tuesday not knowing where to go or whether the procedure was actually taking place that day as I didn't receive the confirmation letter either

The booking service, prior notification service, reception service, waiting-time, cleanliness of the establishment all get an excellent rating. The hygienist was not proficient or dexterous, was not well-presented, he did not have a good 'bedside manner', his customer care and overall performance was well below the usual standard for Riverside.
