I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. Professional and personable. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. Dr Krishna Moorthy was very clear and engaging. I had total confidence in him as a Surgeon and expert in his field of study. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live and have the opportunity to travel as no other Surgeon had the skills required to the surgery that was required. He has extensive experience of working with complex patients and shows care for each patient. Would highly recommend him.

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I am recovering really well and have huge admiration respect and gratitude to Professor Ameet Patel, I thank you and all your team. Paul D

You know when you're going to have operation that is goto be painfully. Mr Monk put me at ease through out. It was done so well yes it was painful for just two days with the painkillers they gave me just uncomfortable. He is a such a good surgeon I could walk and drive after week
