From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. Constantinos Kyriakides is highly qualified and experienced doctor who is able to easily solve even the most complex of problems which other Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons cannot. He is a very clever and polite person, always keeps a professional distance, incredibly attentive and considerate. He is a doctor who is not just making money but really cares about the health of his patients, loves his job and does it professionally and with pleasure. Mr Kyriakides successfully did two surgeries and several sclerotherapy sessions on me. One of the surgeries was very rare and difficult, so much so that other vascular surgeons weren't able to do this (And I had looked among the best surgeons of London). All sclerotherapy procedures were very easy and absolutely painless for me. An absolutely amazing surgeon who I have since recommended to a number of people. I had total faith in his skills and knew that I would be in safe hands and receive the best possible care. The aftercare has been outstanding - there were times when I would send an email on a Saturday evening not expecting a reply until the Monday and had an immediate response. He is very accessible and thorough too. One of the best surgeons I have encountered.
