This was astonishingly calm, efficient, friendly and professional. Because my tests were an 'emergency', I had to be fitted in but I never felt that I was inconveniencing anyone. The CT department even stayed open for me, which meant that I was able to have my tests and am able to fly out of the country this afternoon.

Pre-surgery: after you get an email from the team about your upcoming surgery, if you have questions you’re going to have to chase a few times to get answers. Calls made, messages left. Neither were returned until I chased. Check in: day of surgery was swift Room: I was allotted a room on the 3rd floor, the room was extremely poor and tired. They don’t have vitals screens in the room to monitor you. Bathroom did not come with any toiletries as advertised in their “polished” marketing facade of a brochure. Room Nurses: very dry, formal. They did not exhibit any sense of humanity, comfort and care. I was a routine job on their checklist to tick off. Food server: The hospital did not bother to ask me in their email pre surgery about dietary intolerance. I was ambushed by a rude male food server to choose something from the menu that was whizzed past me, when I politely declined and asked for a simple chicken breast and steamed veggies. He processed to argue with me and noted I can only get what’s on the menu. How is this even allowed? Rather than excusing himself to seek options, he proceeded to comment on nothing can be done. At which I asked him to leave my room. He started yelling in return at me. How such behavior is allowed baffles me. To talk to a sick patient at their worst time in health and provoke something uncalled for is mind blowing. Recommendation: I will never recommend this place to anyone. No one. My review: is simply based on the facility and their staff, not the ENT surgeon. Weymouth Street Hospital FAILED with their duty of care to look after my wellbeing and health. Especially when I was going under surgery.
