I had Refractive Lens Exchange Surgery on 7/5/24 , carried out by Miss Sharmina Khan. This surgery has been life changing, as the difference it has made to my quality of life already has been incredible - no longer do I have to put on glasses as soon as I get out of bed each morning! I would recommend Miss Khan without hesitation as the care I have been receiving has been outstanding at all times , particularly supportive when helping me with my anxieties before and during the surgery.

Mr Sid Goel gave excellent care throughout seeing him, he has excellent bed side manner also, and explains the facts, procedures, pro's and con's when you see him.

Mr Ho explained every little detail about my eye condition so exquisitely, he gave me complete understanding and confidence to move forward to the operation day. I thoroughly enjoyed going through that procedure with him, his wonderful secretary Katie, his outstanding skill in eye surgery and the care and precision in after care was beyond my dreams. To learn that, just 4 weeks after surgery, the macular hole has already closed was so exciting and I am forever grateful to Mr Ho and his team for their exceptional kindness and professionalism. His amazing talent should be highlighted in gold! I am forever grateful.

Doctor Hamid is clearly experienced, has a light hearted approach and smile on his face. Overall, I had apositive patient experience with him. A few improvements to note for the future based on my experience: - I had the impression, both in the 1st call and on the day of surgery, that he was in a hurry and was looking forward to cut it short with me. - The first appointment with him was scheduled as video call and I was expecting that, however it was run by telephone. This uncommunicated and unexplained change in the moment made me uncomfortable because as a patient I'd like to build trust and easen up with the surgeon.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sherrafat for giving me a new lease on life with my cataract surgery. His professionalism, care, and sincerity were evident at every step of the process. Dr. Sherrafat kept me well-informed and made me feel at ease throughout the entire procedure. I met Mr Islam on two occasions, both times he was very helpful and reassuring. The procedure he performed on my eye has been very successful. I also appreciate that he gave me his personal phone number and was willing to answer ad hoc questions. I highly recommend him.
