The appointment went really well today, Mr. Oragui was very pleased with my progress.

Mr Davidson performed my left hip revision at Guys in Nov 2023. I had had the first op at Spires by Mr Lambu in June 2022. The hip had moved and I was left in pain. I felt my complaints were never addressed. Eventually I managed to get a referral through my GP to Mr Davidson who said I needed a Revision. He explained that the hip joint had moved. After some time (!), I was booked into Guys. The 2nd op felt totally different from the first time I stood up. I was visited by Mr Davidson and his team straight after my op and again before I was discharged. I met one of Mr Davidsons team on my 3 month checkup and then after 6 months I met Mr Davidson. Everything is so much better and this new hip is a success. Thank you, Mr Davison and your team.

I cannot thank Mr Ranjith enough for the treatment I have received. His explanation of the procedure pre op was excellent. The procedure was very professional and care taken to further explain everything. His whole team, from the theatre to the nursing staff and of course the kitchen team were magnificent- so a big thank you to everyone. The My Recovery App has helped me focus on each stage of my recovery. The Consultant has immensely improved the quality of my life.

I wanted to discuss the possibility or desirability of a hip replacement, given that I have arthritis, and genuinely had no preference regarding whether to have the operation or not. He examined my mobility, discussed the situation with me, the pros and cons of operating or not, and concluded that I should continue with physiotherapy and not undergo the operation. Throughout the conversation, he came over as thoroughly professional, caring, and in command of his area of expertise. He gave me confidence in his decision.
