Communication issues between bookings and consultants as I was assured I had a phone appt after I had not recieved a phone call 1 hour after my time. Staff assured me they would contact me, I didn't hear anything and had to contact consultants PA myself

I had a positive experience of my surgery and stay. The hospital is lovely very comfortable and clean. Certainly made a stressful time for me much easier. The nursing staff that cared for me were wonderful. Including the intensive care team who were truly amazing. I felt so safe and that the nurses genuinely cared and did everything they could to keep me comfortable. The surgical team were great at keeping me calm and talking me through what was happening. Would recommend treatment here.

Excellent facilities and exceptional staff

Only issue was that I was sent the wrong date via text for my appointment and when I tried ringing several numbers couldn't get an answer - this was on a Friday/Saturday and my appointment was supposed to be on the Tuesday and it was a bank holiday weekend so I arrived at the hospital on Tuesday not knowing where to go or whether the procedure was actually taking place that day as I didn't receive the confirmation letter either
